VISION

The aim of the school is to provide graduates of the Basic Education and Competency Examination (BECE) with the intellectual, moral, and physical foundations necessary for successful admittance and development, as well as the knowledge and abilities necessary to fulfil their proportionate share in the process of national development.

MISSION

The purpose of the school is to appoint and keep qualified, competent, and dedicated staff and to admit BECE education delivery with the goal of achieving academic achievement, a high level of discipline and good morals, excellence in sports and games, and good sanitation. In addition, the school strives to maintain a high level of cleanliness.

SCHOOL CREST AND MOTTO:

Motto “Knowledge, Supplication to God and Service to Mankind”

The Islamic character of the institution is represented in the school crest by a star and a crescent of the moon located in the backdrop. In addition, there is a book that paints a picture of the school as a science-oriented establishment, as well as a microscope, an engine, and a corn plant.

BRIEF HISTORY 

On March 24, 1997, the institution opened its doors to its first students. The Islamic Development Bank (IDS), which is located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, contributed money to the establishment of the school so that it could offer Senior High School-level science education to members of the Muslim Ummah (Community).

When it first opened its doors, the school functioned as a private institution that was led by an interim management Board with Dr. Abubakari Alhassan serving as its Chairman. In September of 2007, it opened its doors as a boarding school.

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS OVER THE YEARS

SSSCE and WASSCE results for the year 2000 and 2009.  The school has between the year 2000 and 20009 turned out three thousand and thirteen (3013) young men and women.  Though still young, some of them are already working in various capacities, while others are pursuing advanced courses.

The school has also produced a number of sportsmen who have earned national recognition.  Miss Musah Naziha of GHATEL Ladies in Tamale is currently in the Black Queens camp.  Mohammed Adam is also of Term Real Sportive.

The school was also judged as having the best cadet corps during the 53rd Independence Anniversary Parade.
